A Prayer for Persistent Faith

Heavenly Father,

I come before You today with a heart that sometimes grows weary. I thank You for the story of the widow, whose relentless spirit reminds me that You are not a distant or indifferent judge, but a loving Father who delights in hearing my voice.

Grant me the grace of persistence. When my prayers seem to go unanswered and the silence feels heavy, help me to keep knocking. Strengthen my knees when they are weak and my spirit when it feels faint. Remind me that "no" or "wait" is not the same as "unheard."

Refine my heart as I wait. In the persistence, teach me to trust Your timing over my own. Help me to believe that You are working for my good and for justice, even when I cannot see the movement behind the scenes.

Give me a "never-give-up" kind of faith. May I be found faithful when the Son of Man returns—not because I am strong, but because I am tethered to You. Let my constant coming to You be a sign of my total dependence on Your mercy.
