A Prayer for the Pearl of Great Price

​

Heavenly Father,

I come before You with a seeking heart, asking for the clarity to recognize the "pearls" in my life. In a world filled with distractions and treasures that fade, help me to distinguish between what is fleeting and what is eternal.

​

Grant me the wisdom to see the truth when it is placed before me. Like the merchant seeking goodly pearls, give me the discernment to know when I have found that which is of greatest worth—Your word, Your light, and Your love.

Give me the courage to let go of the things that hold me back. If there are habits, doubts, or worldly attachments that weigh me down, help me surrender them gladly so that I may "sell all I have" to obtain the peace that comes from You.

May I cherish the truth once I have found it. Let it be a lamp to my feet and a constant reminder of my divine worth. Help me to protect this treasure in my heart and share its light with others who are still searching.

I thank You for the beauty of Your revelations and the joy of discovery.
